What We Welcome

  • Personal stories, reflections, or insights that fit into Menotopia’s themes: midlife, health, relationships, creativity, resilience, joy.
  • Tips and strategies you’ve found useful and want to share with others.
  • Honest, respectful writing in your own authentic voice.

What We Don’t Publish

  • Hate speech, discrimination, or personal attacks.
  • Plagiarism or AI-generated content without disclosure.
  • Explicitly promotional posts, spam, or unrelated product pitches.

Writing Tips

  • Keep it conversational and clear.
  • Break long stories into short paragraphs for readability.
  • If you cite facts or resources, include links when possible. Check all links to be sure they are secure and safe for readers.

Your Rights and Ours

  • You retain copyright to your work.
  • By submitting, you grant Menotopia permission to edit for clarity, formatting, and length, and to publish on our site and social channels.
  • We may decline to publish submissions that don’t align with our mission.
